There are always a handful of "great" singers-of course it's a matter of 
taste.Several of mine are Paddy McAloon,Neil Finn,Boo Hewerdine,Swan 
Dive,and my latest find Sukilove.There are others but these are obvious ones 
for me.Like everything ,you have to seek and discover.
Of course "bad" singing in indie rock is very fashionable.There is a certain 
charm there.
