In order to clear up any confusion, Bruce Brodeen was not the guy in
Chicago who wanted to buy my jacket! But we did share a room at the
Adelphi for IPO Liverpool: think Plains, Trains & Automobiles with Bruce as
Steve Martin and me as John Candy. He is a complete "count" of course
(with a silent "o", natch!).
Anyone else out there got the new Boss Martians album, kinda like Ramones
crossed with early Costello/Jags (maybe also reminds me slightly of the
Montgomery Cliffs) - it's really rather good.
