For any UK Pixies Fans, Just heard that they'll be
doing two london shows (not sure about any other
cities)at Brixton Academy. Dont remember the dates
I'm afraid but tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9am and
are expected to go like hot cakes!
If you wanna go, best get in there early!
Russ

PS. All this stuff about the darkness... Gotta say I
think they not only rock but are hilarious too. Dont
see how they can be confused with an act that take
themselves seriously - Just listen to the words of
'Friday Night' - an hilarious ode to growing up in the
vibrant town that is Lowestoft!
They're not gonna change the world but they never fail
to put a smile on my face!

PPS. For those of you who like tongue in cheek music
(even if its outside of what majority of listmembers
would usually call music!) check out Goldie Looking
Chain - a spoof White-boi NWA / Beastie Boys / Blazing
Squad on Crack from the ghetto of Newport! Music is
terrible but they still make me laugh! Seems the
darkness have started a trend for gimmicky bands as it
looks like these boys are about to hit the big time
here in the UK!
