Hi all,
OK, not power pop but I'm wondering by chance if anyone hear has
ever heard Maury Muehleisen's 1970 released disc "Gingerbread"? If
so, any thoughts on it? As you may know, he was the guitarist for
Jim Crocie. Maury also died in the plane crash along with Crocie. I
have only heard one song by him called "I remember Mary" per it was
on a not so great Crocie comp (put out soon after his death, songs of
unreleased material). I always loved the song and it has always
stuck with me all these years. He had a lovely voice (to my ears) and
I always loved the lyrics in the song. Anyway, I checked AMG and
they refer to the album but give no other info on it specifically
other then it was a flop for Capital records. I'm assuming it's very
hard to find...
Best, Steve
