All the hair-bands went bald, put on black cowboy hats and moved to
Nashville. You ever see live footage of Garth Brooks, flying around the
stage on wires - looks just like an 80's Van Halen show ('cept the music
isn't as good). I saw that 'Shock And Y'all' guy on Larry King a few
nights ago - first time I'd yelled back at my T.V. in almost a month.
I think mainstream American music is going to merge into one genre -
Country songs played on drop-D guitars with rap verses and R&B choruses.
Everyone will guest on everone else's album until there's only one
degree of seperation between every entry on Billboard.
