Oddly enough, I was turned on to this performer by a friend from the UK.
"The Occasionals" is a bit more on the alt/counry side that my usual
listening fare...but I'm digging this release just the same.
There are spots on the disc that remind me of Neil Young and that fuzzy
guitar sound he often mines...but this guy can actually sing! ;-)
Can anyone here steer me to a place where I can order his latest release THE
NORTH SIDE BENCHES? I've tried the usual pop outlets...and even gave
amazon.ca a try...but I'm not having any luck whatsoever. I'm hoping that
some of the Canadians here can somehow help me out.
BTW...Has anyone heard this disc? Everything I've read says that it's a bit
more on the power pop side than his first one. Thoughts?
Pat
