As for their style...well, they were pretty anti-mainstream...running a 
little left of The Doughboys, Pluto, Zumpano and MADE where guitar jangle 
always usurped melody. I found the first few indie albums closer to Sonic 
Youth and other times Husker Du in production approach. Noisy and angry 
without being grunge.

Hope this helps...."A Blur To Me Now" is their best record IMHO.
