Hi Matty, 

I like and love much of the Mats stuff. However, I agree 100% about 
the impact of losing Bob. Bob obviously had serious mental health and 
drug problems and they probably had little choice but to say good-
bye. That said, live he always was the heart, soul, and swagger of 
their performance and sound. His playing was like a buzz saw. It was 
never the same with out him (IMO).  Maybe this is an odd comparison 
but I'd compare it to what the Stones would have been like minus 
Richards (in the days when they mattered).

I vote "Let it Be" was their moment where it all came together.
