i said "one of their best" and yes, absolutely! i'd say their three best
are "let it be," "hootenanny" and "shit hits the fans." they were so
much better with bob stinson than without him it isn't even funny. the
more and more they sounded like paul-plus-backing-musicians, instead of
like a band, the less and less i liked 'em.

Sorry - should be more careful with my quoting - I agree about Bob, but
I'd have to sub 'tim' for 'shtf' - and maybe half of 'pleased' - for my
