As Stewart noted, the music rights for the show were
probably quite expensive, and the producers were
unwilling to part with those songs, which were usually
integral to their scenes.  I was in fact surprised
that the regular set will only be $70.  I, for one, am
springing for the deluxe edition, since F&G is pretty
much my favorite TV show ever.  $120 for 18 shows is
about $6.67 per episode--a bargain, in my book, when
just about any movie costs 2 or 3 times that much. 
I'm also very excited about the extras.

Hey, at least they didn't release the regular edition
and then come back six months later with the deluxe
edition.
