Brian,

Great show! The primary focus of the show was to promote the new
Lloyd/Hoover disc but plenty of other great stuff was performed. Mrs. Dixon
(Marti Jones) was in attendance and joined in from time to time on backing
vocals. One of the surprises for me was just how great Robert Crenshaw was
on drums - sort of in a Keith Moon over the top way. Will Rigby screamed
himself hoarse egging Robert on. I had seen Robert play with his more famous
brother years ago but he was much more restrained then. Another surprise for
me was how well Bill played lead guitar. I've known him well since the mid
80's and seen him a bunch of times but he really rocked this time. One
thing - whenever Dixon did one of his tunes the band seemed to shift into a
higher gear - he owned that crowd. Preying Mantis was totally gonzo.

BTW - Tim Lee and I are playing this years Windbreakers show in Atlanta Feb
27th at the Echo Lounge along with the Swimming Pool Q's. If any auditeers
are in that neck of the woods please stop by and say hello.

Bobby
