One of the MC's, the one whose CD landed in the Audities Top 20, thanked
people for paying attention to the indie stuff and getting that
word-of-mouth mojo working. I want to chime in here with some props to Rich
Creamy Paint (www.richcreamypaint.com).

The new CD is "Lovers" and its a soft-pop masterpiece that explores just
about every facet of being in love, creating a life together, and making
things work. If you have a couple of friends who are hooking up in a serious
way, you could make them a mix tape or you could purchase them this CD.
Either way, they're going to thank you. And at least three songs on this
album have serious wedding-dance potential. The jaded and cynical should
stay away. This will make your head burst.

If you heard Rich Creamy Paint's first CD and wonder how this compares, it
doesn't. The first was like a mix of Martin Luther Lennon "Music for a World
Without Limitations" and anything by Walt Mink (not sure if those references
mean anything to anyone): slightly punky pop hooks, electric sounds, a
little bit of guitar snarl and, on the Walt Mink side, some interesting song
constructions. By contrast, "Lovers" is, well, lovely, with cellos, acoustic
guitars, sweet husband-and-wife harmonies, and a complete devotion to a
single theme.

You can hear lots of sound samples playing underneath the RCP web site. Much
thanks to someone else here who mentioned RCP in a post once.

Scott
