yes, so just getting back in the swing of the music things- new puppy and
all-
my 2 cents having just listened to Hang On Mike, is that I am digging it. I
already knew the first song, thanks to a live recording, but the rest is new to
me.
I think the thing that I am relieved about(?) or what I am connecting with,
is that MV is not getting caught up in the overly wordy cleverness that turned
me off on some of the songs on the last 2. NOT that I don't appreciate a twist
of a phrase ( "...the wind cries joseph") but I kept on thinking that some of
his songs were more like "hey look at how smart and clever I am"- and as I
was listening to those songs I would call him word-boy.
Would write more but am getting puppy-dog eyes from the puppy. Must be
playtime!
