...and I'm listening to the snippets they have on
www.therosebuds.com right now, having been prompted by
some promo crap that came with an order from
Merge...and by gum, I'm digging it. Who knows
anything about em? Who digs em? Was Kelly the only
person who heard em this year, or are the available
songs not representative enough of their stuff to
enamour them to the audities hive-mind? Because I
gotta tell you folks, based on these two gems (chris
isaak meets the modern lovers?) I might have had
another entry in my top 20 this year.
