It was Skunk Baxter. I've got a '74 live boot of the Dan playing said tune
featuring Skunk on lead vocal as well, which goes to show how much Donald
Fagen didn't lead to be the frontman.
Derringer played the slide guitar on "Show Biz Kids" also from COUNTDOWN TO
ECSTACY, hence the confusion.
