I didn't think that Squeeze had really broken up as much as they mutually
agreed to disintegrate. Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford remain on good
terms, the way I hear it, but Chris didn't want to tour anymore because he
didn't want the temptations that the road so often offered him (he's a
recovering alcoholic), so Glenn took the band out for one last tour to
support "Domino," the band's last studio album...but without Chris on the
road, too, it wasn't really Squeeze. So Glenn took the solo route...but I'd
gotten the impression that he wasn't against working with Chris again, nor
Chris with him...
