Well, er, em yeah: about that comment...
What I MEANT that to sound like was: if I'm going to
listen to something that sounds that way, i'd rather
hear the guy that actually sounds that way than the
guy who liked that guy and TRIED to sound that way.
That's not limited to voices, but it seems that there
is always some radio band that engenders a whole slew
of amazingly similarly VOICED bands (ie, if it weren't
for Pearl Jam, would we have had all those sepulchral
chesty over-emoters foisted upon us for the next 10
years?)
It's not like I run home and listen to Everclear every
night.
Not that there's anything WRONG with that.
I'm just saying is all:
