This just in from the "Midwest" Neverly Bros (not to be confused with the "East Coast" Neverly Bros I'm hearing so much about):

THE BAD NEWS:
The Neverly Brothers Tuesday - Jan. 20th appearance on WGN has been canceled.

THE GOOD NEWS:
THE NEVERLY BROTHERS APPEARANCE ON THE WGN MORNING SHOW HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY - FEBRUARY 3RD BETWEEN 7 AND 8 AM.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but Kevin Neverly has a severe throat infection and cannot perform as originally scheduled this Tuesday - January 20th.

>>Is WGN channel 9 a national tv station? If so, tune into the morning news
on Tuesday Jan 20th to see The Neverly Brothers perform live. This duo
features Kevin from the Wombats and Carl Schreiber, my fave local rockabilly
musician (think brian setzer).

That will be a big surprise for Gary Frenay and Artie Lenin of The
Flashcubes, who have been performing as The Neverly Brothers since 1980
(matter of fact, their first gig might have been for me when I worked the
Landmark Theatre in Syracuse).

b

ps - WGN is a Chicago superstation with national bandwidth
