The beauty of this country, and of music in general, is that we have the right and opportunity to listen to whatever we want to hear. If you don't like a particular artist's message, don't buy his music. If it comes on the radio, simply change the station or turn it off.
The right to free speech is guaranteed, even if we may often find it preachy or condescending.
Personally, I'm not a fan of CCM, but I'm certainly not going to deride an artist for his or her religious convictions. It'll be because they suck. Like Creed.
