Personally, if the tune is good, and the lyrics are well crafted, I don't 
care if the subject matter is Christian or Hindu or whatever. And if the tune is 
REALLY great, I don't care if the lyrics are "My God is Number One!!" repeated 
endlessly, I will be hitting the replay button and singing along.  When I 
think of songs like "Invitation" by Whiteheart or "Secret Ambition" by Michael W 
Smith,  my first appreciation for them is just as great songs.  However, I am 
more of a melody fan than I am a lyric fan, so I can understand people who 
would feel differently.
