This is not a blanket statement about music with religious lyrics but
... There is quite a bit of Christian rock that is politically motivated
- and copycat bands are created to mimic the style of the moment to
attract youth, raise funds, etc.  So, being in the pro-choice, pro-birth
control in Africa, etc. etc.- camp I am careful where my money ends up.
Usually just have to check the label and see if there are any
affiliations I don't like.
