Although I'm the first to admit that my beloved TVPs are an incredibly
inconsistent band, with their peaks and valleys pretty much exactly
correlated to whether or not their genuinely mentally-ill leader Daniel
Treacy is on his meds or not, their debut album AND DON'T THE KIDS JUST
LOVE IT? is the Rosetta Stone of what would eventually get called (by some)
twee-pop. I noticed last night in Virgin that this and at least some of
their other records have recently been reissued.
