I saw them open for Brendan Benson last summer. Very good, very
tuneful, very quirky -- kind of a more pop-oriented mid-80's era R.E.M.
to my ears. Didn't grab me enough to rush out to buy the CD, but from
the sporadic but avid kudos they're generating in the year-end lists,
I'll definitely pick it up. Lead singer John Roderick did some stuff
with Harvey Danger a few years back, as I recall.
