They haven't made an official announcement yet, so I
don't know what they'll say, but the split is sort of
an open secret right now.  From conversation, I'd
mostly chalk it up to the grind of their heavy tour
schedule.  Some of the business setbacks of the last
couple of years (being dropped by Epic, etc.) probably
didn't help either.  It's really a confluence of these
and other things.

I actually really love most of the songs on that last
album (though I hate the album title) and don't quite
understand its somewhat lukewarm reception.  But I
don't think it hangs together as well as the other
records.   The EP was actually recorded prior to the
third album, but released afterward.

I will certainly miss this band after eight years of
seeing their shows.
