Yep, she did.  As I understand it, the booklet concept of the new
packaging was how she'd wanted to do it originally, but didn't have the
budget for it.  Once she was able to do it, she decided to make it worth
buying again for the die-hard fans (which she must have realized would
be the only takers anyway) by adding the bonus CD of live material and
b-sides.  Maybe not the nicest gesture to those who bought the original,
but at least there was a thought to the fans in putting together the
content of the end product.

And as for the original release, there was a bonus CD single (completely
separate from the CD proper) that came with the first [X] number of
internet pre-orders, as contrasted with the cases brought up earlier
where the initial release was bare bones and later releases added more
goodies.  I certainly don't begrudge her that move, since she's
ostensibly releasing stuff all on her own now, and needs to work her
primary sales channel -- the internet -- to best advantage.
