I have been looking at the top 20 lists as they have been posted...no big surprises..although I am waiting for Bill Holmes top 20..and a few others..they always have impeccable tastes..enjoyed Mickster's list as well..I enjoy the lists that show the records that are off the beaten track a bit..and not the boring FOW (which was an ok cd..but certainly not the best cd of the year)

One cd that has not been mentioned is Thursday's "War all the time"...like the last one..just the right mix of tension, riffs and passionate vocals...for me..one of the best pop records out this year..

maybe because the lead singer is sad..and emotional..that you all lump the band in EMO..

just wonderin'
