The only one I know is Grand Champeen, a Texas band that puts on a heckuva 
live show and even cover the Mats (and Costello).  They were a little 
twangier in the past, but that part of their sound seems to be fading 
away.  It's more of a straight-up rock thing now, with some of the raggedy 
Mats charm.  I would suggest checking them out.
