I doubt you were being entirely serious, but let's make the distinction
between use and abuse.
Reminds me of what Robyn Hitchcock said when someone asked if psychedelic
drugs helped him make his music: "I didn't need to take drugs. The Byrds
took them all for me." (paraphrasing)
