Hello!  Yes, Shack have played twice in the States!  They played in NYC and 
LA a few months ago.
Very unfortunately I missed their gig at The Mercury Lounge in NYC by about 3 
days.
It's so hard to find out who is playing where and when sometimes.
Personally (for my taste) I feel that "Here's Tom With The Weather" was the 
best cd of 2003!  I played it incessantly for months and nothing moved me more.
