I wrongly classified "The Way You Move" as gangsta because of the profanity
(the "N" word) a couple times. The worst trend in Rap is "Crunk" music - which
is southern rap taken to the extreme with gruff (yelled at the top of your
lungs) vocals.

"New Jack Swing" was a popular R&B style for a few years in the late 80's and
early 90's. Producer Teddy Riley intregrated hook-filled songwriting, sweet
vocal harmonies and ultra-dancable swing style rhythms into Rap, eaising its
appeal to people who didnt care for the Def Jam style of rap that was popular
in the late 80's. Bobby Brown, Guy (Teddy Riley's own group), Boys II Men and
Tony Toni Tone were major practitioners of this style. Even Boy George, NKOTB
and Micheal Jackson ("Remember The Time") tried the style on for a few cuts.
Most of those artists rode on Teddy's back until he ran out of good songs and
hooks and the style faded when LA Gangsta exploded.
