Yeah, Matty's right. It may not be completely obvious if you're seeing it 
from the outside, but the fans of a lot of the new rock stuff (Rapture, Shins, 
Strokes, heck even the White Stripes and most of the other bands of that ilk) 
know their back catalogs. Remember that these kids HATED almost everything 
that's been popular for the last 5 years or so and spent that time digging into the 
old post-punk stuff. Same is actually true for a lot of the big emo 
fans--almost all of them are into like Minor Threat and Black Flag and even (oddly 
enough) Husker Du. --Jason
