~~~~~~~~~~i can see why chris is irritated (??) with
their success ?? or something. i mean, to insinuate
the rest of the album is FILLER? man. that breaks my
heart.
i am already sick of the song (again, see 'closing
time'), and wish i could get the 'fans' (see my
sarcastic smirk) to go hear more of their albums or
get interested in their other stuff (do you think they
*are* doing that? god, i hope so...).
i saw them on the sharon osbourne show while eating
falafel in a place the other day (the tv was on), and
i thought, 'are they still playing this song?' i'd
think even 'the kids' would be up for something new.
at least mexican wine. and i was thinking -- even
though we joked about 'bright future in sales' not
being a single because of the 'shit' in it...why not?
tons of songs are 'edited' (what's with all my
quotation marks in this post??) on MTV/VH1 these days.
it wouldn't be a big deal, would it? for such a
great song?
musing my way into the new year... best wishes!
love and pop,
jocelyn
