Here's my list, which is a little incomplete because there are
a few discs I wanted to listen to that I haven't been able
to purchase yet (Puffy Amiyumi, for instance). But I'd better
submit my list before I forget. So without further ado:

	1) Matthew Sweet - "Kimi Ga Suki* Raifu"
	2) Zwan - "Mary Star Of The Sea"
	3) Radiohead - "Hail To The Thief"
	4) Postal Service - "Give Up"
	5) Eaves - "The Eaves"
	6) Darkness - "Permission To Land"
	7) Broken Social Scene - "You Forgot It In People"
	8) Belle & Sebastian - "Dear Catastrophe Waitress"
	9) Rooney - "Rooney"
	10) Andy Partridge - "Fuzzy Warbles Vol. 4"
	11) Andy Partridge - "Fuzzy Warbles Vol. 3"
	12) Thorns - "The Thorns"
	13) Fountains Of Wayne - "Welcome Interstate Managers"
	14) Isobel Campbell - "Amorino"
	15) Enigma - "Voyageur"

Can I go ahead and vote for the best individual tunes of
2003? I can't? Well, tough luck. Here goes:

	1) Zwan - "Honestly"
(I can "honestly" - tee hee - say that I've played
this one song about 10 times a week since it came
	    out)
	2) Matthew Sweet - "Wait"
	3) Fountains Of Wayne - "Stacy's Mom"
(I could do with another dozen or so songs just
like this. Why do FoW feel the need to stuff their
discs with filler, when they could crank out a few
	    songs like this per disc?)
	4) Postal Service - "Such Great Heights"
	5) Velocity Girl - "It's All Alright By Me"
	6) Darkness - "Black Shuck"
	7) Rooney - "Popstars"
	8) Thorns - "I Can't Remember"

And here's my vote for Most Disappointing Release After All
The Built-Up Hype Inside My Own Brain And Heart for 2003:

Men Without Hats - "No Hats Beyond This Point"

What a heart-breakingly weak piece of crap. And that's a
die-hard fan talking. Just as bad as last year's winner,
"Title TK" by the Breeders. I'm getting weepy just thinking
about it...

Happy holidays to one and all! I hope 2004 brings us more
good music than we know what to do with!

Don

NP: FLCL Addict Vol. 1 (Anyone here ever heard of a
Japanese pop band called The Pillows? These guys
    are INCREDIBLE!)
