Well...it's time for all the best of 2003 lists to start rolling in and once
again I'll see a large number of bands I somehow missed throughout the
course of the year. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :-)

One band I really came to like in the past month, and ended up giving as a
couple of Christmas gift, was the new one by Sea Ray. There are a couple of
downloadable tracks at http://www.selfstarterfoundation.com/searay.html ,
including my favorite "Revelry". There is also an "e-card" that lets you
preview the whole album online. Their webpage describes them as a "missing
link between the current NYC sound of Interpol, Longwave, and The Stills and
the classic songwriting of The Church, The Chills, and Echo And The
Bunnymen." All I know is there is a lot of goodness there.
