Nice list Mickster, with, not too surprisingly, lots of Aussie bands. I'd
like to add a few of my Aussie faves for 2003:

Shifter-Waking Up Late: Strong power pop with amazing melodies and
harmonies, often reminding me of the great Sun Sawed In 1/2 CD, Mind Flip.

Major-The Bliss Domestic: sophisticated, heady pop. Great stuff! One of
their lead vocalists sounds like a cross between Matt Huseman of Splitsville
and Chuck Oney of The Vague.

Lynchpin-Hand Picked Words: This one has been mentioned here before, by
myself and others. Also sophisticated, alternating between light and dark
moods, and very reminiscent of Crowded House.

Get 'em all!
