Just wanted to pass along some sad news. Bob Crane, an icon of
sorts in the suburban Chicago pop scene, passed away just recently.
Although Bob kept a low profile, he was a HUGE supporter of pop
music with his own imprint label, Red Dog Music Group. In recent
years Bob played guitar in a blues band with Tenry Johns. The guy
had a love of music, especially melodic pop, and was a big supporter
of the Int'l Pop Overthrow concerts, the Not Lame organization and
several other media too numerous to mention. He will be missed by
many!
