My personal view on "Press To Play" is that all the best material was left
for the B-sides (particularly the ones you point out above). The biggest
disappointment in this whole album was the under-useage of the stellar guest
list. It was like McCartney decided to throw an extravagent cocktail party
and never turned on the microphones.
