Chris Collingwood must be a little tired and confused, what with all the
touring and the TV appearances and the interview-after-interviews that he's
been doing.
He must have forgotten that we've heard his "novelty record" concern before.
It's pretty much what he and Adam Schlesinger were saying when they refused
to let Atlantic Records release/promote that terrific cover of "Hit Me Baby,
One More Time" as a b-side to "Troubled Times," and ended up label-less
shortly thereafter.
Maybe he'll feel better when he sees that his records top two of my 2003
lists.
