I remember it coming up some months back, and people
got better about it for awhile, but now we are back to
posts that include (sometimes many) other people's
lengthy messages, rather than just a snip of the
previous message, then the poster's response.
Please have pity on those of us who receive the digest
and trim messages. If you are replying to a specific
part of someone else's post, please trim that post
down to the appropriate segment.
A digest or two ago, I think I scrolled through the
same 2002 top 20 (+30) list ten times!
This would be a special courtesy now, as list after
list will be posted, and there is no reason for them
to be reproduced again and again as people respond
with their own best-of lists!
