I had one or two issues with that piece about Dennis. Mostly that the writer felt the
need to trash damn great albums like 16 Big Ones and Love You to advance Denny's fab
record. I love 'em all. I know more than a few folks who rate Love You as pure
genius. I look at it as a cross between Jonathan Richman and Young Marble Giants.

As for Mike, I gotta say: when I saw then BB after Surf's Up came out (71-72?), he
came out and told the audience if they listened to the new songs they were going to
play (pretty much the best of Pet Sounds through Surf's Up) they'd play some oldies
later. Then they launched into a note perfect version of Heros And Villains.

Reading about Dennis just makes me wanna cry. I can't imagine how Brian and Carl felt
when he died. And worse how Brian felt to be the last brother left when Carl died.
