FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
South African recording artist Duncan Faure has a special holiday treat for
his fans. "This Is The Christmas" is the first single from the forthcoming
greatest hits collection, "The Very Best Of Duncan Faure".
Originally written as a Christmas song, it was changed to the more
universally themed "This Is The Moment" for Faure's 2002 EMI release "Take The Good".
Faure explains the decision to go back to the song's roots; "The funny thing is,
we kept singing it that way anyway. There's something about that time of year
that just makes you feel good. I'm glad we went back and did the song as
intended. I hear Santa likes it much better too. I know my kids do".
"The Very Best Of Duncan Faure" will feature 15 tracks spanning the talented
singer/songwiter's post Rabbit/Bay City Rollers solo career. Highlights
include the recent U.S. radio hit "Let It Be Right (Freedom Mix)" plus "Brother",
"Better Than Ever", "New Today" and "Not Enough Hours".
