I dont understand that since every Wal-Mart (since the supercenter era) has
the
same products and prices as the other one. Its like being a deadhead without
going to the concerts. I read about an TX artitst who painted pictures of
every
Dairy Queen that he visted. (and many tiny TX towns have been invaded by
McDonalds and Sonic Drive-In, not necessarily a bad thing since some DQ's I
have been too around the state are poorly run and dirty) And who can explain
the Krispy Kreme cult? (yes I have had several hot and fresh ones right off
the
store's conveyor belt)
Love them or hate them, you have to admit Wal-Mart does a hell of a job
compared to other super discount chains (the "we wanna be hip" Target and the
clueless old-school K-Mart). They know how to sell to the american consumer on
a tight budget. Its just how they do it by bullying towns, local businesses
and companies for the sake of "keeping the customer happy" that upsets me.
