As probably the only person on this list who actually works for the evil
empire a few thoughts. I've worked for the Walton heirs going on seven years
now at the regional distribution center here in Columbus Ohio. I've never
ever worked for a company that's treated me better and while I may have
problems with their business model they're good folks to work for and
believe it or not they pay very decently.
When my mother died last month they insisted on sending flowers to the
funeral and paid me for the time I took off. From personal experience I can
say they're not evil at all. What they have done over the last 40 years is
create a new business model that works very well. That's the simple reality
here. No matter how much you might hate them they're not going away.
