Hello everybody and welcome to the Owsley show!!!!
This week, to celebrate the release of the new Owsley
album 'The Hard Way' (Out December 2nd) our playlist
has been 'infected' with owsley...
We have been waiting almost four years for the new
disc and it doesn't dissapoint! Following hours of
inner torment, trying to narrow it down to the usual 3
tracks that we usually play from the record of the
week, I decided three just wouldnt be enough. For
this reason you can hear no less than 6 tracks from
the new album! YES! SIX!!! (I still found it difficult
to narrow it down this much!)
Due to this Owsley-fest we have even had to drop
everybody's favourite feature, our weekly show closer,
that is the mystery 80's classic! Please do not worry
though as this will return with a vengence next week.
Also, Binary Boy (otherwise known as Paul) has been
getting busy over at www.cherrybombs.co.uk. Following
each show you will be able to find details of that
weeks, and previous weeks, playlists, details of any
web url's you may have missed and details of any
competitions we are currently running. He has also
got 'all techy on yo asses!' by putting up info on all
the different ways you can listen to the show
online... Riveting stuff I tell thee!
Speaking of competitions.... Our people spoke to their
people and... we are running two this week! The first
