for my money, semisonic never came close to the ragged
glory that was Trip Shakespeare in their heyday, but
then i spent much of my formative groupieyears
slavering over 'are you shakespearienced' and trailing
around after them like some people follow the rainbow
gathering.

eh, it was a start.  

as for closing time - why it only took me about 15
times before i wanted to start puking, and i actually
LOVED those guys at one point, as only a teenage girl
can love a band.  sigh.  c'est la vie, i expect.
