Pat,
Yes, I know that cover - that's on the US version as well. No on the Japanese version there are two ADDITIONAL songs not on the US version and those were ALSO covers I believe. My question was who were the original artists on those those additional tracks? Sorry if I muddled there.

No rarities here, but I agree that they were an awesome band with a lot of
potential that went unnoticed/untapped. FWIW, my favorite disc is "From Here
To Obscurity"....and I play it every few days even after all of this time.
FWIW, The cover on La Di Da is the Nazz tune..."Forget All About It Awhile".
Definitely a great version/big nod to the Toddster. It's a shame that the
aging/fallen Wizard couldn't be bothered to listen to it when I
hand-delivered a copy to him in Nov '97. His loss.
Doug told me a few years ago that then same Japanese company that put out
Brilliant Charade was thinking about doing a "greatest' package...but I
haven't heard anything about it since.
It's too bad that they were in the fold when Big Deal change directions.
(folded?) That shakeup definietely put a lot of strain on the band...if not
signalled/foreshadowed it's end.
