It's funny how this topic has come up just when I did a presentation about
business ethics. Bottom line - ALL (yup, blanket statement) businesses are
deigned to make money (whether they do or not is a matter of how good they
are at meeting their aim). Capitalism is not an ethical principal, and I
assure you that most of the businesses with which you deal bend or break
ethical ideals on a regular basis. Altria (parent company of Phillip
Morris) sells one of the deadliest products on the planet (cigarettes) as
well as a multitude of food products (Kraft) - I find this far more
offensive than Wal-Mart. I still buy
Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

BTW - NJ may not have the largest mall, but is capital based upon the number
of malls per square mile (no, I don't have numbers, just an overall
impression).
