While I wish that were true, I believe that Bell still holds around 
95 percent of residential phone service in Canada. I really hate Bell 
Canada myself (I switched to Sprint the second it was possible to do 
so), but people, no matter how much they may claim to hate a 
monopolitic corporation, still remain very hesitant to actually take 
a leap of faith and leave them. Shades of a bad marriage.
