First off I found the Wal--Mart talk to be very interesting..
I have nothing of substance to add, so....

I dunno Ira, here in Minneapolis we have the "Mall of America" (built
over the ruins of the Met Stadium). People actually fly from other
countries to experience it. I find this scary.

Tangent but a true story:
Long ago a bunch of my friends of mine went on a trip to Northern
Minnesota. We needed to buy food and stopped at a store to stock up.
We had split up who bought what and one guy (Greg) insisted on buying
the salsa. While looking for salsa he mentioned that he loved it Hot
and Spicy. However, he decided he would need two bottles of salsa
to mix together, to make certain there would be enough for us all.
However, we were ready to go but we found Greg in the store looking
rather confused. He wanted a Hot AND a Medium salsa but the store had
no medium sauce. We said, "Greg, you want Hot sauce, just buy two
Hot Sauces". He said and I quote "Oh no, that would make it tooooo
HOT"!!
He bought a Hot and a Mild to avoid the feared chemical reaction.
OK, I've been way off topic...so kind of back on topic.
Last night I saw an Andy William's Christmas special on PBS. I
remember always detesting these shows as a kid/young adult. I was
surprised to find the show kind of touching in a corny white bread
sort of way...Andy and his brothers, in matching sweaters, singing
Christmas tunes to their heart's content.
Am I in trouble?
Steve
