I also do not shop at WalMart. It's unbelievable the power they can wield.
Very scary. In my town, Long Beach CA, they actually have a Wal Mart in
the downtown area. Unfortunately there are still plenty of boarded up
buildings close by.
Ugh, don't get me started on Home Depot. I ordered some custom shades from
them and it took over 5 months to get the order complete. One problem after
another. Nothing is done on the premises. They order directly from the
manufacturer and shipped to the installer. Leaving alot of margin for
errors. In my case there were plenty ,shipping the wrong shade, wrong
color, wrong size, etc. My complaints fell on deaf ears. The only words
that seemed to utter out of the managers mouth were "It's the manufacturers
fault" So I now longer shop at Home Depot
A few years back, Home Depot went through a management change and customer
service is no longer a priority, only the almighty dollar. Home Depot used
to be a much better place to shop, they had knowledgeable employees and
people that actally were helpful.
My 2 cents
Cathy
